Rock the month of July with new music.  This week the music Gods provided us with tons of new singles, albums, and EP's. David Nail, Alan Jackson, and Jerrod Niemann all released new music that we can't get enough of. 
Additionally, if you pre-ordered the new albums from Luke Bryan or Ashley Monroe, you were excited to see the two NEW songs you were given as instant downloads. "Strip It Down" and "Bombshell" are two of our favorite slow jams for July.
David Fanning and Blaire Hanks are two artists The Tennessee Life is very familiar with. If you aren't, dive on in and look these two guys up. Make sure you get comfortable with their music because they are two we expect to stick around for awhile.

I often get asked at the gym "what are you listening to?" the reaction I get from the curious are often....confused, followed by "you can work out to country music?" 

YES I CAN! I can listen to country 25/8. 

this time of year is when the resolutions start to fade, add these jams to your playlist and keep pushiiiiiin // but try not to have a dance party near the squat rack, or do. I am not one to judge.

7 Years Later.

IF MY LIFE WAS A SONG…IT'D BE A COUNTRY ONE

I was lucky enough to see Luke, Cole, and Lee in concert a few months ago. This was one of my favorite shows of all time. I went to it thinking I would LOVE Luke and Cole and listen to Lee Brice. I am now a HUGE Lee Brice fan. He put on an amazing show that changed me into a forever fan. 

Luke Bryan was great and who could resist a guy who shakes it like this...

{SCOTTY MCCREERY}

In October I got to attend the Scotty McCreery concert at Harrah's Cherokee Casino! I went to the concert with my best friend Abby and we had a blast. I signed up for a meet and greet and was chosen! I was excited to meet Scotty but also sad I couldn't experience it with my best friend. BUT…after a little persuading and asking members of Scotty's team we BOTH got to meet him. He was sweet and OH SO DREAMY! We then stood at the stage and nearly fainted every time he grabbed our hands and sang to us.

 Dylan Scott is someone who I ADORE to see in concert. People say he could be "the next Luke Bryan" but I personally think he is better. Dylan's personality on stage makes any show extremely enjoyable. I've seen him 4 TIMES and don't see an end in sight. I will be seeing him again in June! 

There are a few country stars who are coming to town (or within driving distance) in the next few months! I am most excited to see…

I always look forward to the ACM awards every year. And now that Luke Bryan co-hosts with Blake Shelton? Well let's just say I wouldn't miss it for the world. The award show will be held April 6th in Las Vegas!

{Considering the show is taking place in Vegas and he will be hosting, I half expect a drunken performance from Blake. And hey, I don't hate the idea of it!}

 Everyone always begins Spring by feeling out their NCAA tournament bracket. I do the same thing but with award shows. Here are my picks to win at the ACM awards. 

Overall I expect Florida Georgia Line to dominate. They have such a wide range of fans and that will help them win. 

I am SUPER excited for the ACM awards! I hope everyone tunes in to see if my picks win!
