EAR CANDY: July Jammin'

Rock the month of July with new music.
This week the music Gods provided us with tons of new singles, albums, and EP's.
David Nail, Alan Jackson, and Jerrod Niemann all released new music that we can't get enough of.

Additionally, if you pre-ordered the new albums from Luke Bryan or Ashley Monroe, you were excited to see the two NEW songs you were given as instant downloads. "Strip It Down" and "Bombshell" are two of our favorite slow jams for July.

David Fanning and Blaire Hanks are two artists The Tennessee Life is very familiar with. If you aren't, dive on in and look these two guys up. Make sure you get comfortable with their music because they are two we expect to stick around for awhile.

Wrap up your July playlist with some new Easton Corbin and Hunter Hayes PLUS a little Jon Pardi and you're set for the month!

Turn your speakers up loud and get your July jam on!

[5.22.15] // Easton Corbin
The Island • Ole Smoky Moonshine
Pigeon Forge || Tennessee

I never imagined I'd get to see Easton Corbin play in such an intimate setting but thanks to Q100.3 and Ole Smoky Moonshine my dreams came true. From the time I found out Easton was booked to play a FREE, yes let me repeat that for y'all, FREE show in Pigeon Forge I knew I had to go.

I've been lucky enough to see Easton perform before but never like this. The venue was small, the stage was tiny, and the crowd felt like family.

Easton had the crowd movin' and groovin' to hits like Lovin' You Is Fun, Roll With It, Can't Love You Back, and his current smash, Baby Be My Love Song. But the crowd really started to jam along to his song Clockwork. It's always been my favorite and it was really nice to hear everyone singing along.

Covers.
I've never been to a show where there wasn't at least one cover performed.
Easton Corbin made his version of some classic country jams sound even better than the originals.

Imagine this for a moment: John Deer Green, She Thinks My Tractors Sexy, and Shoulda Been A Cowboy ALL being sung by Mr. Corbin. What words cross your mind? Heaven. OMG. WOW. I would've loved to have heard that. -- well all are appropriate responses. Easton SLAYED these covers and EVERYONE was truly in awe of his energy and talent.

After the show was over, we started to walk out. Call us lucky but we found ourselves right in the direct path of EC and his band. It's no secret I'm the girl who attracts all the artists. It's truly a gift I think. Maybe it's because I always sing all the words. Or maybe it's because I'm loud and capture attention. Who knows, but I'm glad I got blessed with the skill. So, as Easton walks by he graciously stopped right in front of me to say hi. [let's just say I've never had someone call me darlin' the way he did. SWOON].
Overall, one of the most fun outdoor concerts I've seen in a while.
The weather was right and the music was perfect.
Special thanks to Q100.3, The Island in Pigeon Forge, Ole Smoky Moonshine, and Easton Corbin for this amazing show [and a super cute selfie or two]. My friends and I had a blast just 'rollin with it'….
