SONG REVIEW: Beer Buddies by Dylan Scott

raw, course, refined, smooth STRIPPED
Beer Buddies, by Dylan Scott, is proof that less can in fact be more. Peeled of all the "extras", this song is strong in it's most basic form.  The lush track begins with a hushed intro before transitioning into the perfect soundtrack for a Friday night out in an open field with your closest friends. The minimal production coaxes the listener into turning up the volume and getting comfortable with the toe-tapping melody.    Country music is ever-changing. Dylan Scott remains true to his roots while pushing the boundary into a new version of country music we've started to see pop up in recent months. The most successful artists know how to keep things fresh. Dylan finds the perfect balance between staying in his lane and taking the next step. For the reason alone, success is inevitable.

EAR CANDY: duos /&/ groups

WHAT YOUR EARS ARE LUSTING OVER

What’s better than one voice? Two. Or maybe even three.

Once Alabama stopped recording, Brooks & Dunn broke up, and Sugarland when solo, country music lost a little bit of it’s duo/group categories. Of course we now jam to some big names like Little Big Town, Lady A, and The Band Perry, but what about the next generation?

Meet the duos /&/ groups ready to take over.
