The Cadillac Three & Clark Manson

Clark Manson: You may not know his name yet, but this guy has got the talent to make you remember it. He can roll with the best of them. And I’ve gotta say I’m pretty glad that my home state gets to claim him as ours. He and his band are so chill on stage, they don’t hold any punches. You never know what’s going to come out of their mouths, but it’ll sure give ya a damn good laugh. But they’ll give ya a good time. The cover songs get the crowd singin’ along, and then Clark will sing his own music too. Make sure to check out the interview Clark did with TL: http://www.thetennesseelife.com/2014/11/artist-interview-clark-manson.html

The Cadillac Three: Forget it being all about the south, it’s all about these three guys. The crowd was buzzin’ just waiting for them to come onto the stage, and when they came out…total party mode. It was one of the highest energy crowds I’ve seen at a concert. The guys sang their current music and also sang the songs of their first album. The Sunday before the show, on the 8th, Jaren attended the Grammy’s where the song he had written, Tim McGraw’s Meanwhile Back at Mama’s, was nominated. TC3 then played their take on the Grammy nominated song. Their entire set just had you feeling good and jammin’ along all night, and no one wanted it to end.

The highlight of my night has to be Jaren’s attempt at performing Sunshine & Whiskey, the song he wrote & recorded by Frankie Ballard. Let’s just say, it makes for an interesting performance when the songwriter forgets his own lyrics but the crowd is still singing the song. Granted, they had never performed this song.

I dressed pretty comfy for this show. I threw on my Tribe Kelley tribe tee with a pair of jeans and my Timberland boots, and a coat since Ohio has been colder than Antarctica (actually a fact) for days.

I’d say I had a pretty good Valentine’s Day seeing as I spent my night with some rockin’ country singers. It never fails that when the band gives their full energy to the performance, the crowd will send that same energy back their way.
