You couldn’t write a better video scheme for Frankie
Ballard’s current single “Young & Crazy”. If you have ever seen Frankie in
concert you know that this song describes him perfectly. No acting required.
The energy you see in this video is the energy Ballard has on stage every time
he performs.
This video is made up of concert footage from three of
the shows on his Light ‘Em Up Tour, including his annual Christmas show in Kalamazoo,
MI. It also includes clips of the band chillin’ backstage.
I was lucky enough to be at the show in Kalamazoo when
they were filming for this video and Frankie wanted to make sure that his
hometown crowd was given their moment of fame. Some of the shots included are
from this show, such as him on the balcony with his fans.
I can easily see this song being Ballard’s 3rd
#1 single. No matter what age you are, it makes ya wanna be young & crazy. It’s
the kind of song you just wanna jam out to and forget about the
responsibilities of adulthood for a minute.
