Frankie Ballard – SOLD OUT
Swoon. Major heart
eyes.
Frankie Ballard knows how to put on a damn good show.
The energy on his stage is something that rivals some of country’s current
headliners. Nothing less than 150% is put into the show, by both Frankie &
his band mates. A few weeks ago Frankie messed up his shoulder pretty bad at
the Houston Rodeo but that sure didn’t stop him from giving this show his all. Due
to the doctor’s advice he didn’t play the guitar as much as he typically does,
but he didn’t think twice about bringing his guitar out for Young & Crazy. Oh the irony. He played that guitar
like he’s been desperately missing it. Although even was he wasn’t playing, he
was still jammin’ as if he had his guitar in hand for every song; plus Eddie
& Robbie made sure that they played extra hard in his absence. I had so
much fun watching as Frankie ran around the stage and danced like he was having
the time of his life. The joy in my heart was at an all time high watching my
favorite group of guys up on the stage doing what they love & having the
best time.
I was beyond excited to be reunited with FB before he went
on for his set, and as always he was a sweetheart. I’m not kidding when I say
that he is one of the most genuine artists you could ever meet. I always look
forward to getting to talk with him & take pictures. After the show, his
band stuck around to clean up the equipment and visit with family. I made sure
to find Eddie [Frankie’s dope guitarist
& right hand man] & Ross [the
drummer extraordinaire] and tell them what a good job they had done.
As usual, I wore black ripped up skinny jeans and my
black leather jacket with my favorite pair of cowboy boots. The shirt I chose
was an oversized camo tank with an Indian Chief decal from Ralph Lauren Denim
& Supply. I topped off the outfit with an FB ball cap, which was my
favorite part.
I’ve said it once and I’m sure I’ll say it time &
time again, but I could watch Frankie perform every single night and never lose
excitement over it. I’ve driven miles just to catch a show, and I don’t see
myself stopping anytime soon. Sometimes you’re lucky enough to find that one
artist that does something special to you, and for me it’s FB. His music speaks
to me and his shows refresh my soul. I’m both happy & proud to see Frankie
get the recognition he deserves with his artistry. Mark my words, Frankie
Ballard will soon be country music’s next big thing.
